Advertising Rates and Rules

If you wish to reach over 1,400 potential new customers, you should consider advertising in The CN Journal, the Official Publication of The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association. 

We promise you a press run of a minimum of 1,400 copies which, with its 48 pages of eye-appealing layout and excellent content, is well-read by members and their families. The CN Journal contains original researched articles, most dealing with Canadian numismatics, upcoming coin show information, club news and people news, committee reports of interest to all members and clubs, news about the Royal Canadian Mint's products and people….and a limited amount of advertising.

Conditions of Advertising

The advertiser agrees to the following conditions:

1. Advertising copy must be provided via e-mail (or USB drive) as an MS Word, Adobe PDF attachment.
2. Advertising proofs are available upon request prior to publication by e-mail, and only if material is provided before advertising deadline.
3. If advertising changes are not received by deadline, the copy from the previous issue will be automatically repeated.
4. The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association reserves the right to edit, reject or cancel any advertisement at any time.
5. The RCNA shall not be liable for failure to print, publish or circulate all or any part of any issue, for which advertisements have been accepted, or for any other error beyond the cost of space of that advertisement.
6. In consideration of the publication of an advertisement, the advertiser and/or its agency jointly and severally, will indemnify and hold harmless: The CN Journal, The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association, Trajan Publishing Corporation, and their officers, agents, employees and members against expenses (including legal fees) or any losses resulting from the publication of an advertisement, including without limitation, claims or suits for libel, violation of right of privacy, copyright infringement, or plagiarism.
7. The CN Journal and its employees and agents accept no responsibility for errors resulting from handwritten copy.
8. Advance payment for advertising cannot be accepted for period greater than one year unless prior approval is obtained.
9. Accounts are due when rendered and must be paid within 30 days. 2% interest per month (26.2% per annum) will be charged on all overdue accounts.
10. All prices and conditions subject to change without advance notice unless under contract. All prices are in Canadian Funds.

Payment for all advertising may be made in Canadian funds or U.S. equivalent and must be made payable to the “The Royal Canadian Numismatic Association” or “RCNA”.
